I don't speak for my self but me work does, I have a great experience with AVR MCU because I have used them to develop some projects, My last project was reverse engineering for the play station 2 joystick using logic analyser and building a library to run on ATmega16. Aslo I'm a software architect and integrator for Valeo (automotive company - started working from Jan 2014 till now).
