LANGUAGE/PLATFORM: Visual Studio 2019 C# (Xamarin)
We are looking for a programmer who can create a simple Android 10 app, coded using (Windows) Visual Studio 2019 C# (Xamarin).
The app will use the Android device’s (Samsung Galaxy S9) rear camera to record HD videos at 240fps ([login to view URL]). Please note that we have no need for this app, if it will not record 240fps.
The recording need only be triggered by a simple button control for record/stop, such that each time Record is clicked, a new recording begins and continues until Stop is clicked.
The recorded files can be saved to the installed SD card using the current datestamp as the filename, and the app should not generate empty files (0 bytes) when no recording is made.
The development should only use standard classes (Android, .NET 4.x) and not require any 3rd party support libraries. It would be preferred if it did not require Java classes use, but this may not be possible or efficient.
Code should be lightly commented where appropriate. Any special components (other than Mobile Development with .NET option) needed via the Visual Studio Installer should be documented.
The App needs to work with a Samsung Galaxy S9 in particular, though this would likely work with other Android devices that support high speed recording.
The end product should include the full Visual Studio solution folder, ready to compile. If you have questions about this project, please ask.
