Timeslot Allocation and Management System using Vaadin Framework

Dear Experts,

i am looking for a solution to manage timeslot allocation for shipments using a framework called vaadin ([url removed, login to view]).

The specific solution i need incorporates several components which are plugins to Vaadin.

a. Push Notification using ICEPush

b. Calendar using Vaadin Shared Calendar

c. Vaadin Framework

d. Source codes all in Java

i want the very same application to be customized to achieve the following:

normal users can simply access the application and just type in their userid or name as authentication or more even as a simple label to understand who did what.

i need a button to be added that says login as administrator.

administrator usernames and passwords are to be stored in a MySQL table.

administrators can enable certain timeframes from being selectable by the normal users. these timeframe can be either minutes / hours / days or weeks.

my normal day is divided into 12 timeslots each comprising of 2hours. for example 0-2 , 2-4, 20-22 etc.

24Hour time format is used.

now comes the important part.

i have to have a table in which i can select the date, the timeslot and specify a total amount that can be handled, for example from 2am until 4am on 21/09/2012 i can handle only 110 units.

that means the system must recognize if anyone is trying to book more that that maximum amount but at the same time it has to keep track of how much has already been booked.

that means is i have 110 total production, i can book 50, then another 30, then if i tried to book another 40 it would give me a message stating that the timeslot is already exceeded and i have to choose another timeslot or i can choose the remainder of the current timeslot and whatever excess i have goes into the very next timeslot.

that basically is the application request.
