Hi, We have a Magento store for India. Point 1: "Our catalogue prices are our "Selling Price INCLUDING Taxes" India has a peculiar tax system where: If we sell in the state our business is based in; that being Maharashtra; We must calculate VAT @ 12.50 % If we sell to any other state in India we must calculate CST @ 2% This is a straightforward setting if one was to implement and want to add tax and charge over and above the Selling Price. Our Tax is INCLUDED in the price shown on the website and one price offered is irrespective of what state they order from. This is so that we can maintain a standard pricing across the country, including taxes. This difference is basically for the admin view so we know what amount of VAT "OR" CST we need to pay based on which state we shipped to. If you understand this clearly, please bid.
