Hi Initially we will import the 10000 product in your system and also give you an option so that you can import product in your system if the product already exist then it will check if the price is same then no insert into your system but if price vary then the procust price will be modified. Also if the xl file have any new product then it will store into the system. You can also export the product data from your admin panel. Also if you want to add product by additing option we will provide that also. In the main site user can view the product and place an order which will be viewable in the admin panel and admin can mark as delivered. We have few query- a) how you want to add image for product b) we will implement this system in the custom php c) other than product display, shopping cart do you need any customer login section Please let us know your views so that we can send you a details proposal. In your project details you have mentioned 2 point specifically - 1> is there any option so you can be alerted in case there is any new product on your XLS sheet ? Ans : you have to upload CSV sheet of your products .We can develop the features so you can upload the products in bulk , you do not have to do it manually & when you upload a new data sheet your existing products will be updated automatically , so if there is any new product it will be added as well . 2>Is it possible to populate the cart with the products and then afterwards I can assign each product to an appropriate category/sub category and upload a picture ? Hi Derek, I have ideas and solution to help you out in this problem. There are two ways we can go ahead (using existing carts OR developing custom cart). So, feel free to discuss with me and I would love to assist you. If you want to talk about what I described below on Skype for finalization, here is my Skype-ID: realisticzee (1) Importing: My solution is to let you "import" products via custom developed section. This will import all the data, update prices for "existing" products and IF there are new products "add them to database". (2) Reviews/Assigning: You will be alerted with list of "new" products added to database so you can see WHICH products you need to assign categories or upload pictures. QUESTION: I need to know if you want to have this solution custom developed to be used with open-cart/wooCommerce OR you are asking to have a complete new custom store build up. It is important because if you are do not want to use existing carts which already have everything then I will need to ask certain further questions regarding development of new store in term of site-design, total pages and admin panel features. I can do a custom shopping cart for this. In Admin area, you will be able to upload XLS file. Once new products are added, they will be listed under "Approve Products" section. They won't display until products are approved by Admin. During Approval, admin need to select Category, edit product details (if needed, if not products won't have details as spreadsheet do not provide product details). You will be able to upload product image. On Shopping cart side, products will be displayed in category, they will have option to signup and place order. You will be able to see Orders in Admin area. When you upload new XLS file, if product with same ID (first field in spread sheet) found, price will be updated, if not it will be considered as new product. Same can be done if two products have same name. I do PHP coding, don't have much experience with designing side, so consider other proposals too. Thanks, Yujin

Yes, this is definitely possible although I would require a few clarifications on the exact functionality. Basically, you have an Excel sheet with about 10,000 products that is updated, how is it updated? Via some kind of database? I can design an application/script or web tool that will scan the file, check, compare and verify each line with the store products already existing. Once the comparison is complete, it can add a product not existing and delete the ones that not present in the Excel. Yes, alerts are also definitely possible. Also, the app may be set to update at specific intervals. If all the data about the product is included in the Excel file, even direct photo links, they can be imported automatically and even with a generated description. However, if you are serious about this project, it will take at least a month to develop and test. Are you looking for just the app or integration with a brand new site as well.
