Design of a Forum Bookmarking Website

Design a website (programming will be done in another phase) to create user friendly functions for viewing of forum posts and threads. Designers with some basic knowledge of programming will be preferred for this job. Designer should give some suggestions as to how the below can be implemented before carrying out the actual designing:-

Website name - Fmark. Forum Booking. Just Fmark it.

User login - Users can log in using either:

• Creating an account on our website; or

• Gmail; or

• Facebook.

Bookmarking

• Bookmark a particular forum post or thread in the forum using the new designed website.

o Bookmarking should be done with just a click of the button.

o Bookmarking will have the exact link of to the forum post or thread.

o All bookmarking will be saved to the user’s computer.

• Users can create folders for segregation of their bookmarked posts or threads for easy access and retrieval in the future.

• Users can view all bookmarked forum posts or threads at one glanced.

Saving

• Save a particular forum post or an entire thread so that users can view it offline using the new designed website.

o User’s have the option to save the pictures / attachment in the post or thread.

o For downloading of the entire thread, users can delete certain post within the thread and then saved edited thread.

o All saved post or thread will be saved to user’s computer.

• Users can create folders for segregation of their saved post or thread for easy access and retrieval in the future using the new designed website.

• Users can view all saved forum posts or threads at one glanced.

Sending

• Send a particular post or thread to another person using email or facebook (post on wall).

• For facebook, all details of the post will be posted on the wall.

Statistics / Analytics

• Track and Record the most viewed post or thread

o Can be further segregated into most viewed post or thread for different forums. User’s just need to type in the forum name to further filter.

o Users can find and viewed the most viewed post or thread based on the above criteria

• Track and Record the most bookmarked post or thread

o Can be further segregated into most bookmarked post or thread for different forums. User’s just need to type in the forum name to further filter.

o Users can find and viewed the most bookmarked post or thread based on the above criteria

• Track and Record the most saved post or thread

o Can be further segregated into most saved post or thread for different forums. User’s just need to type in the forum name to further filter.

o Users can find and viewed the most saved post or thread based on the above criteria

Incorporate Google Ads

• Design a placed where google ads can be placed effectively (generate most income) without compromising user friendliness.

Additional Info

• Please take into consideration the programming aspect to this website when designing it.

• Should be similar but not the same as http://getpocket.com. Please do not copy the website design.

• Should be universal and be able to use for all forums. For a start, use the following forums for demos if required:-

• Might possibly give additional monetary bonus if there are good suggestions on top of the above instructions. We will have the discretion and the final say as to whether any additional monetary bonus will be given out.

• Please provide us with your previous relevant experience for this job for us to select the most suitable candidate.

• The above also includes the designing of the logo for our website: Fmark. Forum Booking. Just Fmark it.

• We will own all rights to the design.

• The design should be delivered on an editable format so that we can do some minor changes or amendments to the design if required. Please let us know which format will you be using before commencing the job.
