Hello. I am an experienced transcriber of English audio and video and I came across your project posting. I was immediately interested to submit a proposal. I would very much like to work with you in transcribing your audio or video files into a document. I have successfully completed many similar projects featuring speakers of various accents. I am able to assure a high level of accuracy and quality in my work output.
I typically use Express Scribe for audio files and InqScribe for video files, as well as MS Word unless otherwise instructed. Proper editing with verification of uncertain words, technical terms, acronyms, contractions, proper names and informal words will be done with thorough web research. Turn around time for one hour of audio is not more than 24 hours.
I do have some clarifications for this project:
1. What is/are the topics being discussed?
2. Is it a meeting/interview/lecture, etc?
3. Do you have specific formatting requirements for spacing, fonts, time stamps, etc?
4. Do you require a verbatim transcription where all filler words, stutters and expressions like um, like, kind of, sort of, etc. are included? Or do you require the transcription to read more formally where the speech is slightly edited without changing the meaning in order to be more grammatically correct?
Further details about this proposal can be discussed at any time convenient for you. Your response will be appreciated. Thank you very much for this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Leo Chavez
