Hello Guys, I have a VPS Server which runs Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. I have admin access so using Remote Desktop Connection I am able to log in and see the desktop of windows and perform any task. Basically the server is used to store some data in SQL Server database. Now I want to run and manage some applications that I have installed. I can do it as I have admin access but I want one guy from my workplace to do it. This is what I am looking for: Requirements: - Create a standard user account and configure remote desktop connection so that I can allow 1 person to access the server (not as admin). - The person can run programs but should not be able to access the IIS and Sql Server. - That person should have no access to selected folders. - Finally and importantly the Report Desktop Connection for him should be accessible from workplace systems only. I want someone to help me with the above. A detailed walk-through on how this can be achieved is what I am looking for. If you guys have any questions please feel free to pm me. Thank you.

Hi, I have 10 years experience in different server platforms including Windows servers. At this time I manage different servers like: Windows Active Directory forest, DNS server, VPN server, Apache server, Exchange server, ERP Server, Endian Firewalls and I manage a virtual desktop infrastructure platform with terminal servers and Thin Clients. Happy to help you but you must know that normally with RDP you do this on a per-user or per-IP (IP range) basis rather than per-machine basis.
