A logger class that can be integrated into my projects/developments, most probably by declaring a single global instance; this will be used to capture and save log information.
The minimum three levels of data logging expected are:
ALL - Each action taken on the logged component should be logged
ERR - Errors and significant events on the object should be logged
NONE - All logging is disabled
Logger - static options - configured by config file or constructor parameters; - controlled by _DEBUG - writes to std::clog (can be re-directed) at least 3 levels of logging should be supported.
The software needs to provide logging facilities to another program, in line with the characteristics in the information above. It should selectively capture messages emitted as the program runs, and possibly save them for subsequent examination.
