Hi, This is a very simple task. Go to your AWS panel and select EC2. On the left sidebar Under Network & security go to Elastic IPs. Then select the ip you want to attach then click associate on the top of the action button. I world like to hear from you if you have any problems for understanding this. Best, Nasim

I have experience in working on Amazon web services for last 2 years. Have developed multiple projects involving AWS and serverless architectures.

- will need temporary administrative access to AWS Console to administer EC2, OR, temporary CLI access with proper access to administer EC2 - will need root access to the EC2 instance, for the work. - ingress reachability from outside to any IP should be no problem - egress traffic initiated from the EC2 instance, on the other hand, will depend pretty much on the application that want to communicate with outside. - there is no mention of production status or operating system of the server. please be aware of unavoidable short downtime during operating system and network reconfiguration.
