I have a default team site in SharePoint 2013 (online) within my company intranet. I have SharePoint designer 2013 and MS Visio Pro 2013. I need help in building a workflow for document reviewing and approval, I enclose the concept I have but if there are errors or better ways to get the same results please advise. I would like to set up a workflow for reviewing documents, the workflow would start with a manual upload of a document to the team site: 1. Manual upload to the "submitted library" initiates an email to the admin to determine of the document is suitable for the review process. Admin can select approve to proceed for review or decline and return (email) to originator. (2 admins required for redundancy / holidays etc.) 2. If returned to originator the document status will be marked as rejected on the "Rejected list" 3. If approved by an admin it will go to the "Approved for Review" list and an email would be sent to a pool of 10 reviewers ("reviewer list") to inform them to review the document. 4. Allow the reviewers to download a copy for review and when they have finished editing they upload to the "Draft library" 5. Once a reviewer has completed his review (online or by uploading a revised document) the changes are shown on the status list to uploads to the "Draft library" which sends an automated notification to the admins. 6. Have a 30% completion rate to progress to the final approval stage. (i.e no hold up waiting on someone coming back from holiday). So as long as 3 out of the ten conduct a review the process can be deemed as complete. 7. Have a duration limit of 4 weeks before a reminder is sent out to all reviewers / admin / originator. 8. Notification sent to the admin when the 30% review criteria are met. 9. Admin will review the comments and manually adjust the final document (into protected PDF etc.) and send it to an "Approved library". 10. This will send an automated email to the originator and a pre-determined list of "end users" that the document is ready for use. 11. End of workflow.

Actually i do the smallest bid to get the project as it is the first time for me on the site and I want to proof I could do this as case history and reference for future jobs actually during 2015 I create around 50 WF using SharePoint designer and Info path using office 365 platform , I believe it will be an easy project for me...

My Experience: 6 years experience in SharePoint workflow development for financial company client How I help you to implement the workflow: 1. Create three new document libraries named as "submitted library” (with a string column called “Status”), “Draft library” and “Approved library" 2. Create a custom list for reviewer 3. Create a configuration list to store admin information 4. Create a list for reminder 5. Build your workflow in SharePoint designer with following features - Send email to admins and create task for them to approve - Add new item to reminder list to trigger daily reminder check - Monitor admin’s approval task, then mark rejected document as “rejected” and mark approved document as “approved by admin" - Send email to 10 reviewer and create task for them to approve - Provide link in email for reviewers to sharepoint the edited document to draft - Monitor reviewer’s approval task, when 3 or more reviewer approved the doc will send email to admins and stop workflow - Send email to creator of document and make a copy to “Approved library" - Build another workflow for daily reminder - Daily reminder check, if it over 28day, email will start to send out daily.
