Scenario: you have a table in an access database and one of the fields is called tbl_raw_content. In one of the fields called “content” you have a record populated with the following city names “Luohe, Jiaozuo, Weihui, Wugang”. You then run a query that pulls out the city names and inputs each city name into the individual city fields in the table tbl_city_data on the record with the field that has noodles. I have two issues I am trying to solve: 1. Pulling the city name out of the content – that is why I included a table called tbl_country_city because there should be some sort of look up. 2. Putting an individual city name into an individual field in a new table. This should be an update query and not an append because I want these four cities associated to the ‘Noodle’ record.
