I have two scripts in Python, both less than 200 lines including whitespace, that I need in R instead. You'll require a robust statistics background, some familiarity with Bayesian statistics, log-likelihoods and MCMC would help. I don't necessarily want or need a line for line transformation, but blocks of code by comment block should be transferred so that the comments are still relevant. Comments should be transferred exactly except where they reference Python commands, in which case the appropriate R command should me mentioned instead.
