DB Design / Query algorithm

I need a knowledgeable php5/mysql coder with experience in efficiently designing and querying databases. This is a simple project for someone who knows what they are doing. This project is to design a new database that will contain up to hundreds of thousands of rss feeds. It needs to classify feeds by category. I want feedback including what to use, mysql, mysql lite, etc. I also need to develop an algorithm for a keyword or keyword phrase search. I currently have a simple algorithm that will look for keyword or keyword phrases in the title or description of the feeds. As far as the algorithm goes, please inform me if you have any experience with building and/or finding existing open source algorithms you can use to query the db with. As far as speed goes, there will be up to hundreds of thousands of queries, but these queries can be spread out. They are not user queries. In addition, there will be some user queries, but those will only be in the hundred or thousands per day. These i'd like to be very quick and provide fast results. Please see attached file for more detailed specs. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform openBSD, Linux
