We require a client/server application that can copy a users internet explorer bookmarks and .xls and .doc files from the ??my documents?? directory on the local computer, and transfer these files via an encrypted transmission method to a remote terminal server, and place these files into a corresponding profile on the terminal server. Users will also have to supply their username and password to the application to confirm their authenticity. The username value will define which profile the files will be placed in. Also if the username/password combination is sent over the internet, they must be encrypted. The aim of this application is to be as user friendly as possible for the end user. Tick boxes should be supplied so the users can customize which files are to be transferred. A minimum of user interaction is preferred. The server side software can be as complex as needed, as this server is administered by computer technicians. Please see attached file for a full description of the work required.
