Crystal Report Default ODBC DataSource Display

I have a VB6 project using crviewer for Crystal Reports 8.5 and 9.0. I want to add a module to find the default ODBC datasource that was selected as the default when the report was designed in Crystal Reports. A message box will popup telling the user that the ODBC Data Source must be setup before running the report in the crviewer application. I have seen this done in other Crystal Viewer applications so I know there must be a way to display the default ODBC Data Source Name before running the report. Looks like I need to explain a bit further. My code is working. I just want to add a line of code to display the default ODBC data source name of a crystal report file selected and tell the user they must define that ODBC datasource to run the report. My project uses [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and crystl32.ocx. I'm guessing one of these has a property to display the datasource name of the .rpt file. I am guessing that Crystal reports developers are able to define the datasource name at development time. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete visual basic 6 source code of all work done. 2) Code written using "good programming practices" for variable names and procedures. 3) Compatible with Crystal Reports 8.5 and 9.0 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
