We have a paper planner that will be developed into a Windows desktop application. An example would be the Franklin Covey planner, but our version will be used to track personal error patterns. Example of paper planner will be provided on acceptance of bid.
The application will have two main sections: the first has four separate text entry fields, the second has 30 check box fields in four separate categories. A good example of a GUI would be an application called "EverNote"
Additionally the application will track the checkbox fields in a graph to allow for self-analysis of error trends. (Y axis will be number of errors reported in one week by date; X axis will be the week by date). there will be five data lines - one for each category and the average of the four.
We require this to run on the desktop of a Windows machine and run in the background at start-up. Users will be able to pull it up from the taskbar and add in their entries as required. Ideally this will also be integrated into MS Outlook as a plug-in to the Tools menu for easy user access.
App. will need to include Help files for users.
It is anticipated successful completion of this project will lead to follow-on work to develop the same application for use on PDA's and Phones using Windows Mobile OS.
Programming Language of your choice, but we envision it as probably a Java or .NET application.
