The velocity equations for the mechanism should be used to determine the displacements through integration. Obtain graphical outputs for the displacements: 2, 3, r1 and velocities r1, 3. (a) Choosing an appropriate set of dimensions, obtain the displacement curves, for one cycle, for a crank-driven four-bar using the numerical method based on the Newton-Raphson approach. (b) Obtain the displacement curves by building a Simulink model of the same four-bar. Compare the results obtained with those of (a).
