For windows only at this point, I want to send a media file to a user via email, and upon clicking a provided link, have this sent media upload automatically into a new folder on ten flash drives set up via a docking station and a USB connection to the computer.
Software installation on users behalf is possible, and I've seen DOS code to enable this, but I would prefer that no software installation is necessary.
To clarify, I upload non-zipped media into a folder A containing content B. User clicks the provided link via email, which most likely opens their browser, and automatically downloads Folder A with content B, into flash drives 1 thru 10, all hooked up via a docking station.
A media sync, so to speak.
## Deliverables
As I've seen DOS code to enable this "media sync," the task of coding may not be all that difficult for creative and skilled coder. That said, I want the user experience to be clean and easy, as "hands-off" and non-computer literate as possible. Combining the function with easy of use and reliability is critical.
I'm open to ways of getting this done, whether browser based, or desktop installation of software - whatever is easiest and most use friendly. The less my user have to do after receiving my link, and automatically load the folder with content to all 10 flash drives, the better.
Content within files will typically not be larger than 25MB, if this is somehow a concern to the programming.
