Academic Records Software

Looking for a skilled, reliable programmer to create a small software program that will organize academic records and create a cumulative report card/transcript. How the software will work: The end user will submit information and the software will organize this information, and make three mathematical calculations based on the numbers entered (multiplication and addition only). I will provide the winning bidder with a Camtasia video that shows a similar piece of software. The end user will need the ability to print a 1-2 page academic record that has been created. The software should have a help feature built into it, so that the user clearly understands the options available to him. For the help feature, I would like to use small question marks (clickable) beside the input data fields. After installing the software, the user will be required to enter a unique password in order to use the software. So, upon opening the software, I need two fields: one for user name, and another field for the uniquely assigned password. Software should be compatible with PC's running Windows 95 and higher. Program should have the ability to save data entered from a previous session. Most importantly, the software should be user-friendly! When bidding on this project, please provide an estimated date of completion (2-4 weeks, 5-7 weeks, etc.) and briefly describe your experience designing software. Thanks.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
