Computerized Car

Hey, my company has been working on a project for quite some time. We just now ran into an investor, and we would like to hire on a few developers to kick start it's development. The core of the care is Microsoft windows. 2 laptops. 1 system laptop and 1 front end laptop. It needs Visual Basic Programmers, C/RTOS Programmers, People who can handle developing USB/EtherNet Hardware with Custom Electronic development, people who can do aplifiers/Autamotive controls to operate a vehicle. and more... If you have any idea for what you would be capable of programming or developing please post the idea, and what you would charge for it. No one may have the skills necassary to do what I want for this car. Any one with a good enough statement on what they could do, or a good enough NEW idea that they could handle, I will most likely start up a private auction and pay them seperately. And then keep this auction public and active. ## Deliverables If you are programming, I would need your protocol information (To make sure that it will work witheverything else) Then of course WELL-DOCUMENTED SOURCE CODE, and an executable form for the target environment. If you are doing hardware development, I would need project kit that you built. The device would have to work, (not just in theory) Followed by schematics. ## Platform The platforms include(but are not limited to): Windows Visual Basic Visual [login to view URL] Visual Basic ActiveX C++ ActiveX(when needed) ASP (For certain front end controls) Graphics and Pictures (Front End) USB/Ethernet Hardware Devices (Communications between PC & Car) RTOS Systems (Possibly eCos to control Certain devices in the car) C/C++ for RTOS Mechanics for Logic Mechanical Abilities. anything else you cna think of. ## Deadline information Everything in the final product will be open source to the world. Elctronics, Source Code, Encrytpion Algorythms. and more. This will be capable for anyone to use and to possibly do this to there own vehicles. Remember that all code will be public. Once it is tested of course. We don't want to post code that will crash the car. or not work all the time. But segment by segment, everythign will go up for evaluation, Alterations, Gratification, and then finally for a vehicle test.
