Communication protocol

I am building a project for a rabbit microcontroller that will be compiled using Dynamic C. This portion of the project requires the rabbit to be able to communicate with a PC or other device via ethernet. The rabbit must be able to listen to network activity and be able to detect when a certain packet is sent so that it can set up communication with the PC. Once communication is established, the PC will issue commands to the rabbit by sending packets with certain identifiable strings or commands. The rabbit must be able to parse these packets (which will be comma delineated). Basically all that is needed is something which will be able to listen to a network, establish communication with one or more computers and have a two way stream of communication via ethernet UDP packets. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This will be running on a rabbit 3400 series microcontroller with onboard ethernet capabilities. This project is being made using Dynamic C 8.10. It may be possible to provide code with just C for those who dont have or have never heard of Dynamic C, as its just a C compiler with alot of added functionality and capabilities. What is imoprtant to know is that this is NOT C++.
