Code Modification of Existing Module

We use a module from [login to view URL] for our Joomla site. Presently the module only links to articles. I would like to modify the code so that it can link to a product category in our virtuemart store. Preferably, I would like to add an option to the code. ## Deliverables As the website owner, I am quite familiar with CPanel, can modify PHP when directed, and an expert at Joomla. In other words, I can help your work to be faster by providing answers. You can see the clone site at calm2.com. The module is the top Slideshow that shows albums. As I mentioned, they are linked to Joomla articles. I would like them to be linked to Virtuemart Product Categories.
