We need data about restaurants collecting from a website, and storing in a database file. You will need to query the site, according to details in the file attached, parse the HTML to collect the data, and for one of the fields (Price Range), do some data conversion The attached file details the site, and how the first page of data can be displayed. We want all the data for every state from the website (i.e. all pages). The data we want to collect from the site is as follows: Restaurant Name Street Address City State ZIP Phone Number Neighbourhood Cuisine Price Range Field Notes: A combination of none, some or all of Neightbourhood, Cuisine, and Price Range will be available for each restaurant. Data must be collected for these fields wherever possible. The Cuisine field sometimes contains more than one Cuisine Type, but it's ok to return this as a single textual field. The Price Range rating, when shown, is depicted as 4 dollar signs with 1 to 4 of the dollar signs coloured blue, 1 blue being the lowest price, and 4 blue being the highest price. I need the data for this field returned as a usable value - I suggest a 1 for one blue dollar, 2 for two blue dollars, etc. Data Format: We'd like the data arranged by State - preferably with a separate file for each state, although one single data file is acceptable since it can be queried by the state field, which should be present for every record. The format of the file should be comma delimited data, or a MySQL database dump (i.e. a CREATE TABLE table definition and SQL INSERT statements). A comma delimited file should have double quotes around for all text fields, or for all fields. A MySQL database dump file should be able to run in mysql version 3.23.x. Deliverables: Payment will be released after data has been delivered and we have been able to do some spot checks to ensure it's accuracy. If data is provided as a MySQL dump, we'll be running the SQL to ensure it runs correctly before releasing payment. We will be expecting to receive exactly the number of rows of data that are available and visible on the site (e.g. 9821 records for California)
