Cake + Perl Issue with Server Move

We are a web host company and have a client with a Perl Site that also has a Cake PHP App within it.

Code connects to dbase but will not generate new pages on site (in Perl) and has an affiliate program that runs witin cake php as a subdirectory.

We think it's an htaccess issue for Perl (mod-rewrite) and with teh Cake, some kind of paths or config setting.

Site is still running live on old server, so working example remains. Need someone to fix both ASAP..
