I would like to have a quote and time for launch regarding “Auto-linking”. The site is written in PHP, database is PostGre. The auto-linker can be written in a language of your choice as long is it meets the criteria. In step 1 it can be a “crude” PHP-solution capable of handling 10.000-100.000 words. In step 2 however, it should be written in C++ or Java as PHP has proven to be a bad choice if the number of words are more than approx 100’. What is autolinking? Autolinking is extremely straightforward; it's about going thru a text and change certain words to hyperlinks. For example; if the word "Yoga" is in a list (database) of words that should be converted to autolinks (hyperlinks), the text yoga will be changed to the html-code as below: Yoga = <a target="_blank"href="http://www.experiencefestival.com/yoga">yoga</a> System The site is written in PHP Admin: PHP , SH, Crontab Database: PostgreSQL OS: Linux 7.0

You have faced lots of problem with that script. We can solve that problem. We can provide u a new script in java or PHP(if u set timeout for php in server). then it might work with php too waiting for your response. Takim

I've worked with auto-linking on a smaller scale before, and it'll probably be easier to redo the entire thing in C++. :)

Fastest possible solution with smallest possible memory footprint, coded using C language + Flex & Bison, and Perl as generator of scanner's specification. After seeing the code I decided to code it from scratch using adequate technique. Please contact me, Paul. ps. $400 for Perl or PHP version.

I would very much appreciate the opportunity to participate in creating a practical solution for this project. I am an expert in PHP, Java, and AJAX. I am able to write this script for you implementing any of the previous three languages ( I leave out ColdFusion based on the overhead of using it but if you like, this can be done as well ).
