Accessibility Parser

The project involves writing a script in classic ASP, or ASP.NET that intelligently presents text based information from a HTML file. The script must do the following: 1) Accept a URL variable from querystring. 2) Grab the content of the URL via the XMLHTTP object. 3) Purge the HTML of any images and formatting, including class references. 4) Purge the HTML of an JavaScript, and Javascript events. 5) Purge the HTML of any other Objects, such as Flash and Real. 6) The script must then update all the links in the HTML so they can be passed back through the script is clicked. This includes all relative links as well. Any links that were represented by images must use available ALT text and form a text base link. 7) The server side script must also allow the background colour of the page to be changed, along with the over all font colour, and size. This must be an option for the viewer to change. Coliurs, fonts and sizes will be provided. All the above points must be achieved using Regular Expressions, not standard VBS InStr, Replace, etc. This has to be very fast. The script must then spit the HTML back to the browser. This project will essencially be a complete remake of the BETSIE project available at: <[login to view URL]> ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform NT 4+ VBS 5+ IIS 5 and above
