ABC is an online bookstore. You are with the web team of ABC. The company wants to implement an advanced search function for customers and assigns you to design the front end, a HTML form.
Your task is to develop an advanced book search form. This search function should be able to let users to search books based on any combination of a set of criteria, such as price range, publication year (range), author’s name (first or last name), keywords in book title, etc. The backend database is provided (download from the website). Review the database carefully and design the advanced search form based on your understanding of the data.
You need to submit the user input to a servlet, for testing purpose. You don’t need to implement the actual search function at the backend. Instead, you should use the servlet to display what users have selected or entered for each search criterion. All user inputs should be correctly displayed in this servlet page; if there is no input/selection for a particular criterion, then display “not specified??
