I operate some scuttle websites ([url removed, login to view]). Actually I have purchased the [url removed, login to view] script which extends scuttle and this would be what you would have to ensure your code works with.
I want content to be automatically posted to these sites.
I will have an xml file containing username/password for the user, and various fields containing the information to be posted.
The program you develop (script or desktop application) should read this xml file and post to the website.
Because I have multiple websites, the website to post to is recorded in the xml file.

The program you develop (script or desktop application) should read this xml file and post to the website.
Because I have multiple websites, the website to post to is recorded in the xml file.
The program needs to maintain a status of posts (successful/failed) and be able to resume and re-post posts with errors, etc.
Additionally there should be the facility of posting with delayed times, to have a delay from a few seconds to a few hours between posts, rather than just posting 1000 records in a lump.
It should simulate real use of a website by posting over a period of time.
Also the program should have the option to backdate some entries so all posts do not just start from today.
On top of the functionality of reading the xml file, the program should also be able to manually post a single entry by having a simple interface allowing the user to enter the required fields and click submit and then the entry is posted.
