Our first project is to add a custom styled primary navigation menu that will display the Custom Menu we have already defined in Wordpress but using our own style. Here is our testing theme: [login to view URL] and here is the menu example of what you must complete within it: [login to view URL]
It must be displayed inside the 'North' panel at its top.
Our second need is to install jQuery support. We have jQuery running now but it only by hacking the heading with src= code which we know is not the Wordpress way. I want to be sure we do everything the Wordpress way to insure transparent upgrades without breaking our project.

This is not for a newbie. You must be expert in Wordpress.
We must understand the code-base completely. Whatever you do must be well documented. We will also have an internal project manager for you to check off when completed.

----- Comfort with SVN to upload / download files from our server
----- We expect you to svn download the theme from our server to yours and commit your changes back to our SVN. We will then upload it via SVN for review when you are completed parts of the project.
----- We will create a login on our wordpress installation for you, so you may test your results live.
We are wishing to find one individual who is expert in wordpress *** multi-site *** as this is our preferred new development platform for our custom websites.
I am a web developer with decades of experience. However Wordpress is brand new to us. I am wishing to learn how to make a custom theme for wordpress that includes only the features we would use.
So, if you would like to be my teacher 'as needed', please tell me your hourly rate and also the time zone / location you are in.
