I am designing a site that requires the following functionality:
The photo gallery within the portfolio section will have 3 columns -
Left - site nav menu
Center - Text copy with info about project
Right - Thumbnail photo of project
The photo gallery will have dynamic functionality. When clicked, the thumbnail image should expand left and down to fill the center pane of the site. Left and right navigation button should allow the user to view the next or previous picture in the gallery. Another link should allow the gallery to collapse to its original size. The functionality should be built in DHTML layers. If the client does not support layers, the thumbnail image should instead launch the gallery in a new window with no toolbars or scrollbars. All gallery images will be a standard pixel size.
Wherever possible, all effects should be cross-browser compatible for IE4+, NS5+ and Safari. Other browsers such as Opera and NS4, and users who have JS disabled, etc. should degrade gracefully. In other words, readability and usability should be maintained even when expected technologies are not available in the client environment.
I will only consider bids who show samples of similar functionality. This is a time sensitive project, so only bid if you have the time to work on it in the next week or so.
Thank you for your interest.
