Another simple PERL script

Suppose you have two columns of numbers in a file. Each number is separated by a space. 31 1 16 1 31 5 31 0 12 2 12 5 I want to for each value in the first column, what proportion of the time the second value is greater than 0. For example in the above list, the answer would be: 31 .75 16 1 12 1 So here there are three 31 values of which 2/3 = .75 have a non zero value. For the other two, all the values are greater than 0. I need a PERL script that loads a text file with the two values and prints to the screen two values like above. Need it asap.
