You need to create an control that is able to
* connect to the MSN server
* send message
* disconnect from MSN server
The protocol to be used should be MSNP14 or MSNP15 (or more recent)
Properties of the control:
* host
* port
* from_username
* from_password
* timeout (in seconds)
* debuglogging (true/false)
(when set to TRUE you have to log the full communication to DBGVIEW (outputdebugstring) - make sure that all loggings are done via ONE function)
Methods:
* send(to,message)
* connect
* disconnect
* connected (true/false)
(the send/connect/disconnect are done in a synchro way, meaning they will only 'return' once they are done successfull or unsuccessfull - they have to return an error in case of failure)
(the connect/disconnect/send methods can't take longer then 'timeout' - correct error should be returned if not done within the given timeout)
No .NET stuff can be used. Clearly indicate what runtimes will be needed.
The control should NOT use events.
If more properties/methods are needed in your opinion then let me know.
If you use some kind of opensource project then make sure that from a license point of view we're allowed to use it in a none-opensource project.
If you're interested by have "problems" with some of the requirements (also time and $) then please don't hesitate to talk about it with us.
