Hello,
We need a small C++ function (and a console application to test) that extracts some parameters from a string that is formatted just like a GET url. For example a string of varying length, order and format may look like:
s=12323123123&p=hello&r=wekjrwkejrhk2j34j333&e=Monkey
We require that the function your write, locate and extracts the value of a given parameter, for example 'e', where e=Monkey. Your function should accept two parameters, one is the string (like the one shown above) the other is the token name to grab. The return or out parameter should be the value of the string requested.
For example, if I passed the string above, and a second param of "e" to the function, the return result would be "Monkey".
We need this very quickly, tomorrow if possible. We will need to cut and paste this code into another project so make the function as modular as possible.
Please use standard char[] processing functions, no bstr, cstring or the like. The string will always be ascii.
Windows 2k and better in Visual C++ 2003
Thank you.
