Concordance/ Word Count Program

I want a C# application that reads the files in a single text file or a single directory or a directory and all subdirectories recursively. It then counts the words in a fashion similar to the old unix wc functionality (words, characters, lines). You should be able to filter filenames by standard regex (*.cpp, *.h, *.txt, go*.txt, etc.) In addition to the wc functionality, it should be able to create and display a list of all the words encountered in frequency order with an absolute count of how many times the word was encountered, as well as a percentage of the overall number of words encountered. Test case 1: Scan all the CPP files in a directory listing the number of times various API calls are made, as well as how many times various variables are used (no, you don't have to distinguish variables from API calls, but you do have to parse words slightly more intelligently than just using whitespace.) This is NOT a homework or student project. You MAY use open source code to produce this program, and it will be released as open source via Sourceforge (In fact, I'd appreciate it if you would do the posting there when you are done).
