crawling of 4 sites and desktop application to manage them

A client would like to extract data from a few sites, like location, name, telephone, etc, about 8-15 fields from database driven web pages. And create a desktop application to manage those entries by source, looking automatically for duplicates (emails, url, telephones), recrawling sites every X time, cloning and merging items. We'll be extracting data from 4 sites to start with, they are not complicated. In one there are about 700 entries, then 2000+, and the biggest has 9000 items. I'm willing to pay about $25-35 maximum for each of these sites. Will send the URLs and explanations to those interested in this project and show proven experience and feedback. First step would be crawling the sites, then merging the data and then creating the application to manage all entries, duplicates, cloning, recrawling, etc. Please contact me if you think you're capable of doing this. We'll be adding more sites to this desktop tool very soon, and also other projects similar to this. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Crawling technology does not matter, as long as the desktop application works as I would love to.
