Complete C++ program and code RMI interface

The code to be completed is an API to a database. It needs UNICODE interface to complete it. The API is written in Microsoft Visual C++ and so you will need to use that compiler. Both UTF-8 and UTF-16 functions need to be coded. The incomplete database API calls the UTF8Convert object. When you get the API you will be able to see how and where to supply the data. The task at hand is to build the objects behind the UTF8Convert object. I wouldn't mind seeing the API actually interfaced with the ICU code IBM has on the net. It can be found at [login to view URL] and is very extensive in unicode conversion. Once you finish this piece there is a ton of work to be done for the web site that will use the API and you will have 1st opertunity if accepted as developer of this API to bid on the web phases. A demo will need to be supplied written in Java and using RMI to access the API that will show the Unicode modules at work. It has been asked if JNI is OK and the answer is yes but use the JACE interface to JNI. Coding must be completed quickly so I will want to see a time line. There is a lot more work to come after this project is completed. A good job could get the coder more projects that use this project as a base. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. C++ Program must be a callable library object. 2) ZIP file containing all code and objects. Documentation of how to install and use it. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Removal of all code and objects from you systems upon completion. ## Platform Windows XP/2k and Linux Operating systems in all the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape and 1 previous version. ## Deadline information You must give daily progress reports and be able to be in contact with me for questions via Yahoo Messenger.
