ASP.NET AJAX Gallery Page

Create ASP.NET Gallery page for existing website using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET AJAX.? I would like to see some newer visual technologies such as exploding thumbnails (hover over to see slighty larger view), sliding thumbnail page views (think iPhone interface), and a pausable slide show with sound (optional cause I'd like to avoid flash/silverlight). I've made a rough mock-up at <[login to view URL]> to give an idea of what I'm looking for. ## Deliverables Page must be coded using the current Master Page and CSS, as well as utilize ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ASP.NET AJAX (and JavaScript where needed). I would not like to use any third party controls I will only entertain Flash/SilverLight for music playback (but if you have a way to avoid it, I'm all ears) The Gallery page should conform to the current style of the site and look similiar to the mock-up (i.e. white borders, size of images, etc.). Full-size images will always be the same height, but their width may? vary and should be centered in the display area. Thumbnails will be manually generated and will always be the same size (to be determined by best fit in the thumbnail area). Thumbnails should be evenly spaced from each other. Gallery Names should be loaded from database, ini, or xml file and displayed on a bar at the bottom.? If there are too many to fill the bar, there should be arrows at either end that allow scrolling a page at a time left or right (with animation/slide effect). Each gallery should have it's own ini or xml file for additional information about each image (caption, caption color, copyright, copyright color, background color, etc.).? This should be optional and default? to either the values specified in the Gallery Names file (for colors/photographer) or from the image filename, minus the extension? (for the caption). Thumbnails should load fill top three? columns before moving to the next row, and should fill the whole page before loading the next page (e.g. Row1Col1, Row1Col2, Row1Col3, then Row2Col1, Row2Col2, etc.). Thumbnails should pan left and right if there are more than can be displayed (a la iPhone style).? Buttons/links at the top would move left or right a page at a time. Thumbnails on non-visible pages should be pre-loaded so the pages pan/drag nicely.? I don't expect mouse dragging, just click with an slide to either side. The caption should be displayed centered towards the top of the image in a transparent div/span (i.e. solid text, transparent background).? I would like it? if this could fade in/out as the mouse moves over and out of the image.? The photographer copyright should be displayed at the bottom in the same fashion. Full-size images should be pre-loaded so they display faster (maybe the ones for the currently loaded thumbnail page, or the next few in a given direction). When a gallery is selected, it should load the thumbnails, show the first image, then continue in a slide show fashion with the next after so many seconds.? I would like some sort of transition when changing images (maybe a fade effect, a slide effect, an implosion, just something fancy). Mousing over a thumbnail should explode the thumbnail to a slightly larger size (see mock-up).? Clicking on a thumbnail should show the large image in the display area (without reloading the page).? I want this to be an [login to view URL] thing, no iFrames. I'd like the right and left 25% of the picture to have transparent arrows that only show if you move into that region (see Yahoo's OMG!? pictures).? Clicking on one of the arrows will move to the next or previous large picture. I don't need an interface to add thumbnails and pictures.? I'm open to how they're stored, but something as simple as a directory with all the files for each gallery is fine.? The thumbnails can have a "_thumb" suffix on the filename (e.g. "[login to view URL]" becomes "[login to view URL]"). As I mentioned before, I'd like a different song to play (or possibly a list of songs) for each gallery, but coding this is optional.? I'm open to how this is done, and if you don't want to do this option, make mention of it in your bid and I can take that into consideration. If you add music, it should remain playing while in that gallery (changing thumbnail pages or images should not stop it).? There should be an option to turn it off as well (which should be saved to a cookie so it doesn't turn back on). If you have changes, suggestions, or? comments on my requirements, please make them clear before bidding. As far as pricing goes, I'm open to all fair offers.? Confetti Events is a small startup and doesn't have a very larg budget for this (read as if you're price is too high, I'll have to code it for free and won't do as nice a job). I will supply the master page as well as the [login to view URL] and any other source files required to do the programming.
