I am a qualitative market researcher with specific experience within the health sector. I have worked on qualitative projects on behalf of the NHS (using qualitative interviews to build understanding to inform communications with pregnant women about lifestyle changes whilst pregnant) and The Health Foundation (conducting telephone depth interviews with health professionals). As the Research Manager at the health charity Drinkaware, I designed and reviewed a series of qualitative and quantitative projects to design communications and influence choices concerning alcohol and the impact on health. I enjoy the challenge of building rapport, listening and questioning effectively whilst remaining sensitive to respondents' situations, particularly relevant when thinking about health and pregnancy.
