Basic Node.js Help

I want someone to simply use the following [login to view URL] (an api to get data) to send requests and get data. Requirements: Show me how to set up node.js and the github project above on my Windows 7 machine Then show me how I can send a request json to the api and get a response json back. Then show me how I can take the response json and write it to a text file. This job should be extremely simple for anyone who knows node.js and javascript.
