KisCafé Brand Brief

Introduction

Aqua Cool ltd, a company known for its famous brand KISIMA Pure Drinking Water has now expanded into the Coffee & Tea Vending Services (CTS) business. See [login to view URL]

The proposed new brand name for the CTS department is “KisCafé”. This includes Selling Coffee Vending Machines, providing the hot beverage ingredients (listed below), and servicing / maintaining the coffee machines through a service center and trained technicians. KisCafe has also partnered with Africafe for its Coffee (and some tea) options. Africafe is the #1 Coffee Brand in Tanzania, and have allowed KisCafe to use their brand in its marketing.

The Products that will be offered by KisCafe are:

- Coffee options (black coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte)

- Hot chocolate

- Tea Options (black tea, masala chai, green tea, lemon tea)

- Coffee Creamer / Milk

- Sugar Sachets

- Porcelain cups (branded)

- Disposable corrugated paper cups (branded)

- Stirers

- Stands/Holders for tea bags/sugar sachets, etc.

*Above products will be a mixture of brands such as Africafe, African Pride Tea, Afrimate (From Afri Tea & Coffee Blenders), Cadbury (hot chocolate), KisCafe Masala Chai, KisCafe Lemon Tea, and other Imported Italian Brands for Coffee Beans, Capsules, etc.

Audience

KisCafe will begin its operations mainly aimed at the Office Market, providing solutions for businesses who are looking for a cleaner, more efficient, better tasting, and delivered solution, with monthly records and billing. However, there are already plans underway to expand into the “coffee capsules” market, which would aim at Homes and Hotels/Restaurants/Café’s (HORECA).

Aged between 25 to 45, the new generation corporate executives in Tanzania crave a good cup of coffee, similar to what they are offered in cafes around the city. However they need a practical solution to impress their teams through cost saving, modern look and impression to clients, and an overall better procurement system for ordering products which are otherwise neglected and bought through “petty cash”.

Messages

1. This new brand is about being “happy at work”, and essentially more productive.

2. “Wake up with a Kiss” – KisCafé

3. “Let’s Cappuccino that Sales Report?”

4. For the logo, I have already envisioned a incorporating a Coffee Bean which looks like a Kiss (as Coffee Beans and Kisses are similarly shaped) – it would be catchy.

5. The focus of the brand will be corporate offices and institutions, but also needs to appeal to the retail/general public.

6. The brand needs to send a message of "upclass" yet "happy"

7. The brand needs to match with our current KISIMA Water brand (see attachment logo and [login to view URL])

8. The brand needs to use images of people at work / other environments - enjoying hot beverages.

Materials Needed

1. Coffee Machine branding (vinyl + dome stickers – depending on machine type)

2. Example of packaging for Tea/Coffee Packs, generally need a branded label that would be placed over the generic images of Coffee or Tea

3. Advert Samples (for magazine, outdoor, email)

4. Uniform for delivery staff / technicians

5. Vehicle branding for small cars/trucks/vans or motorcycles

6. Fonts / motifs / colors

7. Coffee Cups (disposable) and Mugs (porcelain) branding

8. Stationary (business card, letterhead, etc.)

9. Brochure / profile layout
