I am co owner of a coffee company in Vietnam. We are growing and our looking to redesign our logo. Down the road we will also need help with packaging design, banners, etc. so ideally we'd like to find one good designer that will do a good job on the first project that we can continue to work with. Ideally we'd like someone based out of Vietnam as it would be easier for us to work closely with moving forward.
As far as the logo itself we have an idea but just need help making it a reality. We would like a roasted coffee bean with the outline of the country of Vietnam in the center. With a coffee bean there is a crack that normally runs down the center, basically we want to have our "crack" in the bean be in the shape of Vietnam. We are a roaster so incorporating a flame or steam or something that implies a freshly roasted bean is an idea. Either that or a star, think the Vietnamese flag. We are also open to suggestions as design and aesthetics are neither mine nor my partners forte. Our slogan is "The REAL taste of Vietnam" and we are trying to convey that this is 100% real Vietnamese coffee, grown, roasted, and drank in Vietnam. Our target customers are Vietnamese coffee retailers (coffee shops, hotels, restaurants, etc), other roasters, and end consumers.
The name of the company is Tien Lap Coffee, and of course would like to incorporate the name into the logo. As for colors were thinking a dark brown, think roasted coffee, for the bean and the lettering; and green for the inside of the Vietnam "crack" on the bean. Think earth tones.
