Cant up load my New WP theme

I bought a new wordpress theme and I cant upload it properly to my domain. I think there are some old files in my FTP (which i cannot connect to at the moment). This will be a supper easy install for a programmer, the theme comes with full on instructions. I just cannot upload the DEMO content that they have given me. There are instructions but im not sure what im doing wrong.
There will be reoccuring work for the awarded freelancer

do you have cpanel and ftp details for hosting? cpanel makes it easier to set and import database and through ftp we can upload files, can we have a chat about your pjoect?
