Re-build website for a small family business of HVAC & electrical contractors. The current website can be viewed at www.ajaxcontracting.com.
Problems with this existing website, which are to be corrected or improved, include: 1. Not compatible with mobile device viewing The new web site shall be able to detect the viewing device whether it is a computer or mobile device and configure the viewing experience accordingly; 2. Lack of emphasis on the residential market. The front page of new website shall be similar to [login to view URL], where the viewers get to choose "residential" or "commercial". The following pages for "Residential" shall present information on the company, past jobs, hiring as well as web-interfaced customer forms for "Contact Us" feature. Additional feature for accepting credit card payment is also preferred. The following pages for "Commercial" can be similar to the existing web site or simply leave as it is; 3. Lack of dynamic content and modern design.
General design guideline for the new website: modern, clean and professional look with some dynamic, interactive features, easy to navigate, enhanced cross-platform (PCs, mobile devices) viewing experience.
