Untappd ([login to view URL]) is a great web service because it allows you to check into SOMETHING, as well as a place. In their case, users can "check in" to beers that they are drinking and if they want to, a place where they are drinking it at. I want to do the same thing, but for something different. Maybe even make it generic where a person could put in anything. Basically though, I want an HTML web site service where users can check in to an item.
