Design a Logo

I need to have a logo that we put together for our new company Maze Energy cleaned up. I have attached the files that have got us to this point in jpg because I would like fresh logos made in illustrator. We would like to have the edges corrected because when you look close up to the M at the edges some are round and some are pointy. Also, some lines are not straight on the M. We would like them to be pointed with crisp angles and straight lines. We would like some shadows put in like seen on the original M in grey which we got the design from to give it that 3D effect. Basically we would like that Grey M in Blue. The word Maze is in Astera Font and the word Energy is in Gotham Font. Any ideas of improvement are welcome, but our design is what we would like to stick with for the most part.
