I used a service provider and they had nothing but bogus outdated information which is why I’m looking for someone to do this by hand. Most bulk listings for sale are completely outdated! JOB: DATA COLLECTION & ENTRY Data Collector Requirements I need to collect every pet center information in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico (collected in that order). To be accumulated on an Excel Spread Sheet. Information Needed: 1. Company Name: 2. Category: (Manufacturer, Retailer, Tropical Fish Farm/Breeder, Fish Club, Maintenance Service companies, etc) 3. Address: 4. Fax Number: 5. Email Address: Sepperate fields for street, city, country & zip code. A Fax or Email address is a must (at least one if not both)! If neither is available, don’t bother listing the company. Most sites like [login to view URL] will list all phone numbers and any email address if provided by the business owner. If it’s not available right there, it’s easy to obtain. Simply look up their website (often provided by superpages or search engines) and look on their website for an email address and fax number. Some use forms but a properties check would display the email address. Collecting Fax numbers are also easy. If not on their “Contact Us” pages, then if you setup or have a Free phone service such as Skype or other VOIP service, “Call” the person direct and let them know you represent “Living Reef Imports” an import export distributor and would like to offer below wholesale prices to them and if they would like to see a listing of our current below wholesale prices for Aquariums or Ponds, then just provide the area code and phone number to fax it to. If they say they don’t have a fax, ask if they have an email address we could send it to. This part of the job is going to be important to get accurate information not normally available. Different sites can be used such as [login to view URL] for this information as well as search engines. On [login to view URL] I found this many just using the keyword “Tropical Fish” alone (must be a tropical fish, aquarium, pond, aquatic center, fish farm, or aquatic related. I don’t want dog or cat only establishments as we only supply ornamental aquatic stores. Do not confuse us with “Fishing Stores”).
