Outline of thesis
Chapter 1 (Introduction) :It describes the background, problem definition and basic principal of the penetration testing , scope and motivation etc.
Chapter 2 (Security Architecture) : This chapter presents an overview of security system of any network and related concerns of penetration testing.
Chapter 3 (Literature Review) : This chapter contains the theoretical study and the previous researches proposed for the security concerns. We have included the references of various research papers related to our study.
Chapter 4 (Analysis of Tools and Techniques) : This chapter contains the study and investigation of related tools and techniques. We have also included the manual process of penetration testing and recommendation of semi-automated method.
Chapter 5 (Identified Security Issues and Solutions): This chapter includes the result analysis based on the review of different work proposed earlier in the field of network security through penetration testing. In this chapter we suggest some solutions for the identified security issues.
Chapter 6 (Conclusion and Future Work):This chapter discusses the conclusion of work with few suggestion for the network administrators which can be implement with particular problem.
