Develop Grammatical Language Parser Specifications

The ultimate goal of this project is to create a grammatical analyzer that will examine a Word document and ensure certain grammatical and stylistic rules are implemented. In this first iteration, the grammatical rules in Strunk's Elements of Style will be implemented (<[login to view URL]>) I understand this is a rather large project, but we want to encourage reuse of currently existing tools / software. Any third-party or open source component is encouraged to be use, provided we are first notified of it and there is no fee based licensing required. This can be written in any computer language provided it can eventually be integrated into Microsoft Word as an Addin. Strunk's book is just the first one we'd like to see implemented.
