I have a scientific background (PhD and BSc) which has required me to write, edit and proof-read a broad range of texts working to a very high standard. I have an excellent command of the English Language and an "eye for detail".
I have supported colleagues and students with their CVs for many years now and have, on occasions, been employed to teach groups how they should write their CVs.
The CV is a key document designed to promote an interest in the individual for a particular role. Recent research shows that an appraiser may view a CV for as little as 6 seconds before making a judgement.
For a CV, "less is more". The aim is to present the key information succinctly.
I would produce a straightforward Word document (no more than 2 sides A4) based on the information you provide. During the process, I would contact you if there were items that needed to be clarified.
